Dr. Darren Pakravan is an orthodontic specialist. Like all orthodontists, he began his journey as a dentist, after which he went on to specialize in orthodontics, something only about six in 100 go on to pursue.
Dr. Pakravan's dedication led him through an extensive 11 years of education and training. Starting with a degree in Environmental Science from Northwestern University, he went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois Chicago.
His commitment extended to one year of Hospital Dentistry at Evanston-Northwestern Healthcare, followed by a Master of Science and Specialty Training in Orthodontics, also from the University of Illinois Chicago.
Dr. Pakravan channels this passion into the practice he runs, too. The Windy City Orthodontics team dedicates countless hours each year to dental and orthodontic education, covering a wide range of topics, from orthodontic mechanics and appliance advancements to the latest in diagnostics, development, and practice management.
